WHAT IS VPN CONNECTION
for those who don’t know what a VPN(or rather a VPN connection) is and why you should use it, the question ‘what is a vpn connection?’ should surface on your mind. Ok, VPN is short for Virtual Private Network, I’ll not need to bore you with how it works but what it does. A VPN in essence encrypts your internet connection making you anonymous to any hacker or any person/group with similar intention. Using a VPN would make you less prone to cyber attack. ok that’s just a short note on what VPN does.
Now to the matter of the day, those who have been using VPN connections on their android phones and tablets know very well that it’s been someworth impossible to share/tether their VPN to other devices like PC, MAC, Linux, BB etc. what this means is while you use a secured browsing on your android that security would also extend to your other device connected to your android via tether.
This can be achieved with the use of an android app ISWAT tether unlocker, the tether unlocker unlocks your tether such that it carries the same secured connect from your android phone to other connected devices.
All you need do is download and install ISWAT tether unlocker then run it tap on “Unlock” and grant root access because it requires root.
Download ISWAT tether unlocker apk HERE or you can look for it on the Playstore ‘ISWAT tether unlocker’
-your android device
-root access(your android device need to be rooted)
This is alternative to ISWAT app, though this works for only Android To PC/MAC tether of VPN connection.
This is done with use of an app PDAnet, it doesn’t require root.
Download pdaNet apk from HERE on Playstore, and Foxfi key Apk from HERE(after downloading foxfi key rename it with a .apk extension so you can install it) install both of them.
Now download pdaNet for PC HERE
Also install the PDAnet for PC on your PC.
enable usb debug mode on your android phone, now launch PDAnet on your Android and tick the box ‘Activate USB Tether’ allow it to recognise your internet connection.
Now open the PDAnet on your PC, after every set up sometimes it asks about drivers just continue that way, after everything is done, it appears on your task bar, click on it and click on the first option ‘Connect Internet (USB)’ when its done connecting, you’ll get a pop ‘Connected’. You’re done, start browsing.
